Diagnosis and therapy in patients with Diamond-Blackfan anemia (DBA).

Purpose / Objectives

Primary Outcome

As part of the DBA 2000 study, all recorded live in Germany patients with DBA. Data on diagnosis, therapy and treatment related complications prospectively, if not possible retrospectively acquired. By applying the guidelines is to optimize the diagnosis and treatment, improving quality of life and the long-term prognosis can be achieved.

Inclusion criteria

- Written consent of parents / patients to attend the DBA 2000 Study
- DBA definite diagnosis according to the criteria of the study protocol
- Age: No restriction

Exclusion criteria

- Lack of consent for study participation
- Coming from countries other than Germany, Switzerland and Austria
